Friends of the Library in 2011

FOL are having January off and plan to return in February with a new programme of events for 2011.

Bound by Books, a get-together of all the book groups in Mount Gambier will be back in March.

There'll be a DIY workshop with Mitre 10, learn how to use your GPS with Green Triangle Electronics, and in July The Big Book Sale - so start saving your books now!

For Young Friends there will be a name the frog competition and as requested, a session of board games.

And much more!

First Birthday of the Library

Unbelievable! The new Mount Gambier Library has been open for a year and Friends of the Library has been running for 6 months.

We'll be there for the First Birthday celebrations on Friday 17th December, selling "Libeary" for $5 and handing out free piggy banks courtesy of Bendigo Bank.

There's something happening all day in the Library and surrounds - don't missing cutting the huuuuge cake at 11 am.

Join us in the multi-function room at 3.30 for a cup of tea and a look at what Friends of the Library has achieved.
